DESAFIO
Identify energy efficiency potentials in the standard design and climate adaptation of new stores.
MITSIDI PERFORMANCE
A simulation model was used to verify the cost-effectiveness of different efficiency measures in a systemic way. Technical visits and field measurements supported the assessments.
RESULTS
Estimated reduction of up to 40% in the energy consumption of new units;
Evaluation of 26 scenarios of efficiency measures;
Evaluation of variations caused by the climate for other Brazilian cities.
