Mitsidi in the media – see the latest news

Mitsidi continues to innovate and lead the sustainable construction and energy efficiency sectors in the country, and we are receiving recognition for this in the main media outlets in the country.

This week, Valor Econômico published an interview with Rosane Fukuoka, in an article about energy-saving applications. She presents our award-winning solution for reducing energy and water consumption in residential condominiums, which was piloted in São Paulo and is currently seeking possibilities for large-scale application.

At the end of May, another article was published in Valor, following Edward Borgstein's presentation at ENIC (National Meeting of the Construction Industry) about the EDGE sustainable certification program. Edward is a member of the IFC (World Bank) team in charge of developing EDGE and launching the program in Brazil and Latin America. Mitsidi also promotes certification as a faster, cheaper and more accessible way to build and certify sustainable buildings. We'll be writing more about this soon.

Another news item appeared on the news website reservas Sustentarqui, after the confirmation of the certification of the first LEED v4 building in Brazil. Mitsidi led the energy efficiency strategies and environmental modeling for this building. It was a great success for everyone involved, more information is available on the project website.
