The Best for the World is a recognition by the B Lab for Certified B Corporations (B Corps) assessed for B Impact, verified in the five impact areas assessed in the B Impact Assessment — community, customers, environment, governance and workers —, and are among the top 5% of all B Corps in their group and corresponding size.
Mitsidi received this honor for initiatives such as “Mit Bem-Estar”, a program created to group initiatives and actions promoted by Mitsidi, which seeks environmental incentives and better and differentiated conditions for its employees. It is a strategic initiative to promote a harmonious work environment, which values the health, safety, happiness and satisfaction of the entire team.
Every year, a Best for the World is confirmed as the B Corps with the best performance in creating a positive impact through its business. More than just an honorary recognition, Best for the World provides an opportunity for recognized companies to share knowledge, learnings and best practices with the B Corp community and companies outside the community to create innovation and transformation across the business sector.
Best for the World is managed by B Lab, the global non-profit network that certifies and mobilizes as B Corps, which are companies that meet high standards of positive social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency. Today, there are more than 5,000 B Corps in 80 countries, unified by a common purpose: to build an inclusive, equitable and regenerative economic system. B Corp Certification assesses not just a product or service, it assesses the overall social and environmental impact of the company behind it. To achieve B Corp certification, a company must score at least 80 points on the B Impact Assessment, an assessment of the company’s positive impact, and a Risk Review, an assessment of its negative impact; changes to the corporate governance structure to be accountable to all stakeholders, not just shareholders; and be transparent, allowing information about its B Corp certification performance to be public and available on its B Corp profile on the B Lab website.

It articulates a global movement of people who use business to build a more inclusive, equitable and regenerative economy for people and the planet.
