GHG Protocol - Brasil

The Brazilian GHG Protocol Program, launched in 2008, was developed by FGVces and WRI, in collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment, the Brazilian Business Council for Sustainable Development (CEBDS), the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), and 27 founding companies. Its main objectives are: to promote a corporate culture of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventories in Brazil, advancing a climate change agenda within organizations; and to provide internationally recognized tools and quality standards for emissions accounting and inventory disclosure.

Mitsidi – Brazilian GHG Protocol Program

In 2024 and 2025, Mitsidi was awarded the Silver Seal by the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program for producing a complete report of its emissions, including scopes 1, 2, and part of scope 3. This achievement reinforces the company’s commitment to transparency and responsible management of its greenhouse gas emissions, aligned with international best practices.
