In late 2014, the Brazilian Sustainable Construction Council (CBCS) was contracted by the Environmental Ministry and UNDP to develop a guidance document for the development of public policy in sustainable construction.
The text was written in three parts, detailing the paths that should be adopted for materials, water and energy. Edward Borgstein, of Mitsidi Projetos, co-authored the Energy section with Prof. Roberto Lamberts, of UFSC.
